Originally from Littleton Colorado, Michael moved to Denver to earn a degree in paralegal studies. This knowledge, coupled with intimate understanding of the Denver Metro area, has provided him with valuable skills that he uses daily in real estate negotiations, educating homebuyers and sellers, and effectively marketing the team’s listings.

After living for many years in the Uptown and Cheesman Park neighborhoods, Michael currently resides in Lakewood. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, local museums and art galleries, as well as traveling. With a passion for service and years of real estate experience, Michael is always ready to help with your home buying and selling needs.

 Liz has been investing in real estate for over 18 years, and joined the Art of Home Team in 2018. Originally from Houston, Texas, Liz lived in Denver’s historic Central Park neighborhood and now lives in the new Painted Prairie (80019) development with her husband and two daughters. A highly organized go-getter, she is eager to help you understand your options in the real estate market and find your dream home.

Liz earned her degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Houston, which affords her a sharp eye for detail and a keen appreciation for design. This is particularly integral to appraising home values, assessing the pros and cons of prospective properties, negotiating transactions and contracts, and everything in between. During her university years, Liz toured internationally with the world famous Kilgore Rangerette Dance Team, performing in various cities and countries around the world. This led to an educational leadership future, teaching high school dance. For 15 years, Liz taught all genres from hip hop to ballet, and modern to tap.

Teaching experience sets Liz apart as a Realtor who is caring, knowledgeable and very detailed. She can easily clarify difficult subjects and fine print, and aims for all of her clients to have a solid understanding of their real estate investments.

Liz is an active member in her community. She enjoys volunteering and helping others, and has volunteered with several institutions across the Denver area, including the Colorado Ballet, the Girl Scouts of America, Miller’s Dance Studio, Journey Point Church and volunteers at the Great Western Stock Show & Red Rocks shows anually. She and her family are active in the dance community and are patrons of the performing arts and other local arts events. They have two rescue dogs, Oskar and Bagwell, they love taking them to the mountains and on long runs. Liz also enjoys running, hiking, and yoga - when she isn’t busy helping clients sell their abodes, or helping them find their dream homes!

Heather Truhan has been successfully investing in Denver’s real estate market for over 22 years. Since moving to Denver in 1998 from the Midwest (St. Louis, MO), Heather has gained first hand insight into living and working in several of Colorado historic neighborhoods: Alamo Placita, Whittier, Uptown, Cheesman Park, Lower Highland (LoHi), West Colfax, Niwot, and Boulder. She loves moving from vintage to modern to vintage… and now calls Old San Rafael (in Greater Five Points) home. She and her husband enjoy their two-story Victorian with an attached art studio and wonderful long-time neighbors. They love to walk their dog a few blocks to the dog park, and love supporting the local art and Blues/jazz scene. Fun fact: Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington played just a few blocks away from her house! ​ 

Heather’s unique background in architecture and interactive design/social media give her a savvy edge as a real estate marketer. She sees opportunities where others may not. She will help you visualize the possibilities for your home, and work with you to execute your goals efficiently and creatively. Heather understands the important features of historic Denver homes, as well as many of the green building features that earn modern LEED designations in new construction. She prioritizes educating her team to help buyers and sellers to feel empowered as they make some of the biggest investment decisions of their lives. From neighborhood revitalization projects to new commercial infill, from special tax districts to environmental project impacts, Heather and Art of Home Team will help you to understand the pros and cons of different areas, so you can make complete and informed decisions on your investments. Art is at the heart of it all Heather is also a dedicated patron of the arts, and has volunteered as a First Friday gallery director in RiNo to help emerging artists gain more exposure. She formed the Art of Home Team with Colorado’s visual, culinary, musical and theatrical arts at the heart of it all.
