Denver is teeming with creatives in all mediums; visual art, music, performance art, immersive art. You name it, as the Denver art scene builds and thrives, the art itself also levels up. To celebrate, we would like to introduce our newest feature:

The Artist of the Month!

Each month, the Art of Home Team will be selecting a local artist to feature on our website. This month, we spoke with local visual artist, Kim Roberts at the Walnut Workshop. From Crestone, CO, Roberts works in many different media. We were able to take a peek at her studio and speak with her about her various works. Check out the video below:

Inspired by the mountains, natural beauty, and stillness, Roberts aims to highlight “what is right in the world”. While the world can be a scary place at times, and negativity can be so permissible, Roberts makes art to tap into positivity and peace, and encourage others to see the silver lining.
